Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Marks 80 Years of Global Humanitarian Impact

Catholic Relief Services (CRS), a leading international humanitarian organization, is celebrating a remarkable milestone today as it marks its 80th anniversary of unwavering commitment to assisting the poor and vulnerable around the world. Under the theme “Globally Rooted; Community Led,” CRS has embarked on a journey spanning eight decades, providing vital humanitarian support to communities in over 100 countries across five continents. In Kenya, CRS has been a catalyst for transformative change through a range of projects that address critical issues affecting local communities. These projects encompass agriculture, health, multisectoral nutrition, microfinance, emergency response, HIV care and treatment, and services for orphans and vulnerable children.
